Also what is the best area/places for nightlife and what is the public transport like in Amsterdam?.

How far on the train is Amsterdam to Eindhoven and do the trains run 24-hours-a-day?.

Answer: I agree, if you wanted to stay in Amsterdam, and enjoy Amsterdam, then you would'nt stay in the Amsterdam Arena (stadium) region. Better for you is staying in the Hotel Arena. That is nice!!
